NAPRA Fall League #1
Charles Brannam managed to overcome a 1 fish Saturday to rebound on Sunday and catch just enough to edge the field in NAPRA's Fall League sponsored by Swing Oil Baits.
His two catches were an impressive 18" (GMR at Ripp Rapp) followed by a 16 catch on the GMR near SR 571. His 34 inches edged Marvin Reynolds 33.25 and Steve Kortis's 31.5.
The top 3 get prizes in addition to a random winner. This event is what the angler in 6th place. That would be Travis Lakes whom caught 23" and got a great prizes as well!
The rivers fished included the GMR, Twin, Scioto and LMR. The fish are still there and depending on where the anglers picked were present. Some had 3 dozen fish while some caught just a few.
The Fall League will resume the weekend of October 4-6th with all of the members at least fishing together Saturday at the Super Wade (Mad River at Eastwood).

FALL CUP 2019
"Just keep plugging along!" ran through NAPRA Elite Members mind for the entire Fall Cup and since May of 2018. Why?
With one hour to go in the 2019 Fall Cup Ziehler managed his first keeper, a 11 1/2" on a Josh Nelson borrowed PM 1/4 oz. spinner. So what, 1 little fish. Ziehler realized as the grizzly vet that the other anglers were yet to be on the board. Would this, sadly be enough? As the final seconds clicked it proved to be the one to give him his first win since May of 2018 (Central #2 at Covington). " So proud of Marvin Reynolds winning his first trail. My victory today was neat personally but so happy Marvin was able to win a Series. He's battled for years an never able to win the Wade War or Super Wade. This was a great series win for him!" This was Ziehler's 22nd career victory in his long NAPRA tenure going back to 2006.
