NAPRA NEWS: Shaun Gardner Wins Elite Stage 1
From 80 degrees during the week to extreme wind and a 37 degree start for the NAPRA Pro Wading Elite Stage 1 event? No problem for Shaun Gardner as he bested the field to win the first stage. The event, sponsored by Phat Pak Baits, was held on Twin Creek as the original site (GMR) was blown out. Again, no problem for Shaun as his 71.25" of fish included a big 17.25" to win the event. Finishing second was Aaron Newell (61") followed by Cole Ward for 3rd (53").
The Elite Field will resume in two weeks back on the GMR. NAPRA wants to thank Phat Pak Baits and its other prize suppliers for an excellent event.

NAPRA NEWS: Gardner On a Roll
The 2026 NAPRA AOY race is starting to become a two man race between Shaun Gardner and Aaron Newell. Different stage but same results as the first stage as Gardner's 81.75" (7th most in NAPRA history for a single event) edged Newell's 79.75. Wow!
Shaun managed to catch lunker after lunker including a 17 1/2" fish good for big bass. Finishing 3rd was Randal Duff with an impressive 73.5". NAPRA Pro Wading would like to thank Stage 2 Title Sponsor Whitty Outdoors LLC and 3 Brothers Baits for providing awesome prizes.

NAPRA NEWS: McCane Wins Elite #3/ Tightens AOY Race
Zach McCane, on the strength of an 18" catch and 78.5" total bested the Elite field in Stage 3 at Paint Creek today. The event, brought to you by Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken - Miami Valley, Loud Mouf Tackle, Rippin' Lips Lures, and Pradco Outdoor Brands, was a great day for the anglers as 8 anglers had over 60" of fish caught. Finishing second was Pj Varnadoe with 72" followed by Randal Duff with 70.
The NAPRA field will have their mid season major, the Wade War June 28th before resuming the regular tilt in July.

NAPRA NEWS- Baird Wins Boss Stage 1
On the strength on a behemoth 18.75" bass Josh Baird claimed the NAPRA Boss Stage 1 presented by Big Hammer Lures and Love's Jerky Co.. His 55" was very impressive with his smallest fish tallying 18". Finishing second was newcomer David Asher(R) with 53.5 and 3rd place Randal Duff with 49.75. Rounding out the top 5 were Aaron Newell in 4rd at 47.25. and rookie Quinton Talbott 5th at 46.5 including also a 18.75" fish. The BOSS Series will resume in two weeks with expectations of warmer weather, water, and even bigger totals.

Big waters! Big Fish! David Asher fished the GMR big waters near Hamilton, Ohio to secure 54.25" of fish to win the NAPRA Pro Wading Big Hammer Lures BOSS Stage 2 event this weekend. He managed 2 fish over 18" and edged Randal Duff's 54" including the big bass of the event, a massive 19" bass! Third was Zach McCane with 52.75. Last stage winner Josh Baird finished 4th with 51.75.
