The NAPRA Boss Series kicked off its season with the BOSS Bonus Weekend. Anglers battled nerves, weather and mental choices to get in the right frame of mind for the season. The event, brought to you by White Castle and Big Hammer Lures saw the following finish in the top 3
1- Ryan Buckler 53.75" (biggest bass 21")
2- Joshua B. 53"
3- David Craig 48"

NAPRA NEWS: Gardner Sweeps Weekend/ Wins BOSS #1
Shaun Gardner's impressive 56.25", a possible new BOSS Series Record, secured a win on the BOSS Series Stage 1 this weekend. Anglers battled, wind, rain, rising water, and nerves to battle it out. Shaun's bag included two fish over 19", quite a feat for anyone.
Second place was Randall Duff (55.5") whom despite catching a 20" bass wasn't able to push Shaun off the pedestal. Third was Josh Baird with 53.25.
The BOSS Series is presented by Big Hammer Lures, DuBro Fishing, The American Tackle Company, White Castle, and Breezy Bombers.

In a battle of the "Dayton Smallmouth Slayer" and the "Bluegrass Warrior" Joshua Baird managed to catch a massive 19.25" to put him over Ryan Buckler to win Stage 2 of the BOSS Series presented by Big Hammer Lures. The results were very interesting as we had 2 ties and 1 tiebreaker. Here are the event results

Ryan's 53.5" included two 18" behemoths to secure the win. Shaun Gardner was close behind with 52.5" followed by newcomer @Chris Scarber with 50.75 for 3rd.

His 21.25", yes 21.25"..... will go down in history as one of the biggest fish in NAPRA history. His 54.5" edged Trail Leader Ryan Buckler's 54" to win the event. With 1 event to go and 15 spots in the championship, this will be a very big battle to the end.
