MAJOR SPONSOR COMING:
NAPRA has been in existence 17 years and has been the little engine that could. Our sponsors and anglers have made our league the biggest, best, and Fun first wading league in the nation. We have been approached by a multi MILLION dollar fishing brand that rolls off your tongue like Jordan, Lebron, and Kobe do for NBA fans. We are finalizing the deal but when we can announce the news it will be great. NAPRA CEO Pete Ziehler stated cryptically "Booyah! It will be YUMmy!" Hmm......

Mother Nature is surely going to be a downer and with the weather slipping to crap and fishing even crappier, the 2021 season will end. The projected weather doesn't warrant a competition worth fishing and we will conclude the season effective now. So, here is what we are going to do:
- For those that won money I will mail you a check. I will need addresses
- For those that won events I will mail you your prizes
I hate to end the season this way. However, the tiny 6" deep stream in Bellbrook is now 2" and rising. Its gonna be a washout for sure!
Next Sunday, November 7th I would like to invite local guys to eat at Bubbakoo's as a final get together before we pause till 2022. Details soon.
Its been a great year!

AOY/ DIVISION and ROY Award Named
NAPRA NEWS: Craig AOY
On the strength of sweeping ROY and Wade War in 2020 David Craig managed to outslug Travis Lakes to claim the 2021 NAPRA AOY award. David claimed one victory this year and just had enough to edge Travis. "David when on a tear is up on the realms of Karl Halley and Chris Fetterman" beamed NAPRA founder Pete Ziehler. "I've seen it, he can beat anybody any time and Travis is exactly the same. They are that good!"
NAPRA would like to thank Lee's Chicken - Miami Valley for sponsoring the 2021 AOY.
NAPRA NEWS: Lakes Elite Trail Winner
"Travis Lakes is really starting to make a name for himself in and around NAPRA. He is going to be one of those anglers that you read about in magazines and be honored to know him!" stated NAPRA CEO Pete ZIehler. Lakes edged Ziehler actually to claim the 2021 Division race and frankly will a force to reckon with as he looks to claim his first Wade War in two weeks. Way to go Travis!
NAPRA NEWS: Newell Wins ROY
When you need to summarize the ROY standings well, its simple. Aaron Newell won half (3) of the events he fished this year. He simply is going to be on the Mount Rushmore of NAPRA if he keeps this up.
Congrats
to Aaron for winning ROY! Daniel Brown battled hard and finished second in the ROY standings.

NAPRA To blend Ohio Series/Elite Series into 1 Trail
NAPRA To blend Ohio Series/Elite Series into 1 Trail
NAPRA will be rolling out its 2022 format really soon as we have a lot of sponsorship, contest, and member interest that just can't wait. "Through the 16 years of NAPRA we have adapted to meet the needs of our anglers. We aren't the FLW, ultra competitive like some other small trails that jaw at each other about fishing, but rather of family of anglers that put fun and fishing before glory and cash!", state NAPRA Founder Pete Ziehler. This new format will broaden our reach and enable more anglers to compete both individually but also versus a series of anglers to make it to our Wade War in August of each year. Anglers will be able to fish in either the Ohio Series (closer to home), the Elite Series (designated fishing spots) or both with nearly equal changes to qualify for the championship weekend. "This helps those that are limited to travel and time to fish the Ohio Series while being included in awesome prizes and awards while keeping our 16 years of the Elite Series strong and active. So excited to announce this new format soon!"
Look for the roll out July 1, 2021..

2021 River of Honor Finalists Announced
The votes have been cast and NAPRA is pleased to announce that our 2021 finalists will be the lone finalists for the River of Honor. Those numbers are good for 1st all time (25 more victories then 2nd place) and second all time only due to a short run on the Elite Series. With only vote need to be placed in the NAPRA Ring of Honor Ziehler is pleased to welcome Karl to the Elite company joining past recipients including Hope Taft and Snack Daddy Lures. Way to go Karl!
